Freya and Od were wed, but soon after their wedding Od disappeared and many feared that he was dead, or lost at sea. Freya’s husband was often gone, and she cried tears that turned to gold when they hit the hard earth, or to amber once they touched to sea. Although Freya had an unconditional love for Od, and searched for him under assumed names, she had many other lovers. Including, Frey, Odin and several dwarves.
